Inside AE go to EDIT/PREFERENCES/GENERAL
Down below in that window, press the button "Reveal Preferences in Explorer"
This will show you up the TXT file that AE uses for config.
With your preferred text editor, look up for "AS_packPath" and you problably see the field is a mess.
Make a back up of the TXT file and try to reset this field and restart AE.

Rename the zxp to zip. Unzip into a new folder, name it Animation studio. Place the other downloaded files in it including panel (not the one in the zip). Put this folder in Program files X86/common files/adobe/cep/extensions
Start after effects , look under window, extension, animation studio. Once started point to panel in the folder you made.
